Stevens Strawberries U-pick we-pick

Welcome to Stevens Strawberries! We are predominantly U-Pick but when we have an abundance of berries we do we-pick. Picking normally takes place from mid-July through late September. We are usually open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Our hours will vary depending on crop conditions and number of customers. Occasionally we close unexpectedly due to low berry supply. Please call ahead.

We're committed to pesticide-free strawberries—we don't spray our plants with insecticides, fungicides, or herbicides. Consequently, we do get some misshapen berries, occasional mold, and weed issues. After the season ends, we may spot spray to control thistle and quack grass, but we do this very carefully as it damages the strawberry plants as well.

Picking Info

There are some basic things you should be aware of before you visit us, and we've got strawberry picking tips that should make your experience a little more enjoyable.

Our Varieties

There are a multitude of strawberry varietals, and a great deal of research has gone into breeding a better strawberry. At Stevens Strawberies, we've chosen three varieties to maximize our local growing season and conditions.

Eat Local!

Eat local! The local food movement happening across Alberta is not just a passing trend, but an important shift in the way we feed ourselves and our families.

Pesticides

We're committed to pesticide-free berries. We don't spray our plants with insecticides, fungicides, or herbicides.

We may do some spot spraying after the season is over to control thistle and quack grass. This is done very carefully, as it will damage the strawberry plants as well.
